I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but it seems as if in America a very stringent "Build A Politician" movement has formed. From the stuff that you can find on youtube to the recent hot water 22 year old Sarah Anderson has gotten herself into it seems like the movement has only gotten worse as time passes. More and more parents seem to be manipulating the way their children think, trying to force them into their own little politicians. It's revolting, it's sad, and it is not good for anyone's mental health, chiefly the children's.
Consider the youtube video I referenced, wherein a 9 year old girl speaks "her opinion" on why George Bush was a poor president. Now understand, I'm no fan of Bush and have plenty of my own criticisms. What pains me is the fact that a 9 year old is reciting these views. I'm not going to go too deep into how staged it all is or how obvious it is that she is literally reading from a pre-written speech but instead focus on the fact that she is 9 years old! If you don't find this revolting let me introduce you to Jean Piaget.
Jean Piaget was a physician that dealt with children during various stages of development. Back in Piaget's day people generally regarded children as simply smaller versions of adults that possessed just as much cognitive functionality and merely lacked knowledge. Piaget turned this paradigm on it's head when his theory of child development was released. Piaget outlined different stages of cognitive development that children experienced as they grew older in which their ability to grasp concepts changed and progressed to that of an adult's. A child of 9 years of age falls within Piaget's Concrete Operational Stage, in which children have the basic ability to form logical conclusions about the world but cannot think in the abstract. This bodes ill for our youtube friend.
This girl doesn't have the capacity to come to conclusions about the world of her own accord through any other means than being force fed opinions by her parents and other sources. A 9 year old doesn't understand what "war" is and has no way of gauging how "effective" someone is handling it. A 9 year old doesn't have the cognitive functionality to come to the conclusion that the president is "concealing things from us" with any evidence upon which to base such a claim cited. A 9 year old doesn't understand how politics works, nor even what the president of the U.S. has the power to control. During the course of this video the girl blames the president for the status of food quality in public schools, because clearly of all the things the president has to tend to he can mandate the exact proportion and quality of food for all the schools in the U.S. . Of course this girl on youtube isn't alone.
Consider for a moment 22 year old Sarah Anderson, a political figure who got into hot water recently on account of some of the things she said about the republican party. Sarah Anderon is quite politically active, managing to net a county secretary position at a rather young age. In fact, if certain articles are to be believed she was begging her mother to help a republican Representative get into office at the age of 9. Can you say red-flag? A nine year old doesn't understand what elective officials are doing in or government on account of not having the mental capacity needed to understand what such a position entails. This woman is just as much a victim of this "Build a Politician" movement as anyone else, if not more so.
Consider again Sarah Anderson, she is 22 now which means she was 9 back in 1998. Back in 1998 things such as the internet hadn't even taken off in the mainstream. This poor young woman was restricted to whatever views her teachers and parents had. Now add the fact that this woman is homeschooled and we see just how restricted her access to information must have been at a young age. Don't think that media outlets of the era provided any means to remedy this problem; books, television programs, even the radio programs she would have been allowed to listen to were all regulated and filtered either subconsciously or consciously by her parents. Someone that grows up in such an environment doesn't have their own opinion, they have the opinion they have been spoon fed all those past years. To say she "begged her mother" to go to ANY political event at 9 years of age is as ludicrous to imagine as to say a 9 year old could form a coherent opinion about the democratic process or the workings of a republic.

If you want to see where he calls Christians murderers and torturers, look deeper, look at some of his other deviations! His stats are wrong too! He claims over 600,000 children (LGBT) are homeless in USA, I checked stats and there was around 800,000 homeles in USA in entirety, of that, 39% youth, of that, 29% LGBT)!! Now the stats I accessed might not be right up to date as of today & or when he wrote his blurb, but not by that much? These were govt figures! And I know that the Christian Churches here that I know do not refuse any youth in need! So, unless USA Christians are diferent to Australian ones, he is talking CRAP!
Also, he says he does not mind churches that accept LGBT, what he wants everyone to think is Christian churches that accept his interpretation translations & that they accept his 'Bible', this is a distinct deceit he plays here, word play! How big of him to 'ordain' certain churches!
I have no problem with him helping ANY youth! But I will NOT accept his lies on translation of God's Word. Nor his hatemongering of Christians, accusations of murder, torture and blatant wrong statistics. I have to give him his due though, he has you fooled! I cannot answer your uninformed attack there, so no use trolling me there!

Ad-Hominem abusive aside, I fail to see where this man counts himself as a "scholar", at least in the field of theology. In his about me he doesn't elude to any such status that I noticed.

I haven't been able to find your statistical backing either. In fact that data I did find is more supportive of his statistics than yours. (Following sentence is a link) In any given year 3.5 million people are without homes in the US, 1.35 million of them are children. This statistic is actually likely an underestimate of the actual homelessness rate in the U.S. This stat is listed under the heading "NATIONAL ESTIMATES OF HOMELESSNESS". Perhaps you are referring to another study, measuring the exact number of homeless is difficult due to estimates only being viably generated off of services providing for those suffering from homelessness. Also if your data is dated, as you stated it might be, that would explain the discrepancy. Either way, *inspiredcreativites statistic is fully possible with a rate of 3.5 million homeless people annually, especially when 38-39% of those individuals are kids.

If that is tied into the homelessness statistic I'd point out that regardless churches have finite resources. Otherwise I'd ask you to clarify exactly what it is you are referring to amidst the things InspiredCreativity has said.

Irrelevant to the validness of his arguments, which is the tidbit I really care about.

You keep saying he is propagating these lies about your deity and holy texts, but you never actually define what those lies are. If you would define what he is saying is false so that evidence could be weighed and the validness of both sides assessed it would be much easier to establish credibility.

On accepting only Christian churches that say homosexuality is not a sin:
Christian churches that say homosexuality is not a sin are scarce as hens teeth and are gong directly against Bible Scripture. That Christian churches accept gay's etc as members, as part of the congregation, you wil find more of because the Bible says it is a sin, but we are ALL sinners, that we must forgive each other for our sins, this cuts both ways!That if we believe in Christ and genuinely repent our sins, we are forgiven. What he is saying is equal to me saying I don't think a "white lie" is lying, therefore it is not a sin and you all have to agree with me, because a white lie is ok, why? Because "white lie's" are not mentioned in the bible. BUT they are! ALL lies are sin! What this guy is about TOTALLY is he wants to convince people that the Bible does NOT say, homosexual practice is not a sin. In other words, deny everything! This is what my and TillShilohComes tackled him over, WRONG TRANSLATION. Neither of us have anything against gays or others. God tells us to love ALL our bothers and sisters. BUT neither of us could sit back and see this guy tell people that HE is right and God is wrong! We said not one word that I an remember that was discriminating against gay's etc. We were siply standing for translation. And I in particular take exception to be told that I "personally"! Am guilty of torturing and causing the death of "children"!! It was TillShilohComes who, in the main tackled him on translation, so if you wish to ask him, by all means, I know he would be willing to speak to you, you will find him among my watchers, sorry, cannot link. I too am almost a theologian, almost completed my Bachelors, we are in the same campus & like many struggling (mature age) students have rattrap old laptops that leave a lot to be desired! Theology students are usually poor students unless they have other means & we do not!

Thank you at least for being reasonable and if my tone was a bit terse, I apologise but at the moment we have aconcerted effort from the idiot fringe (trolls), who are using this deviation and others to ply their idea of let's have fun with the Christians (which includes calling us both some of the foulest languge anyone could muster.). so it can be tiring and annoying when you have theological papers to do and just like getting on to DA for some relaxation and art, also the many friends we have met here. With the time difference it could show 2 June? I do not know HOW he did it, perhaps if you unblock and just hit the reply button it just resends the message, but it is here in my inbox AGAIN! He speaks of his "papers", says he knows the Bile has been mis translated, his work is eroneous. ID TillShilohComes took him to task over it and this one had trouble with him because TillShiloh Comes is a theologian and showed his errors, he blocked him also. Have you seen his "paper"? on "Gaydar", suspect back up sources and trials, and, guess what?! it has been found Gay's have longer penis's than hetero's!! This is bull$#@& !And when you take the "TEST" you end up on a DATING SITE to take it! Scholarly? Sure buddy! I think NOT! his guy speaks as if he is a qualified translator/interpreter of Hebrew and Koine Greek AND Aramaic! HE claims HE knows better than all the EXPERT Scholars who DO know those languges, fluently! HE says, they are in error & or DELIBERATLY CORRUPT God's Word! You sound intelligent, you work it out. 38-39% are kids (from the stats you found?), then what percentage of that 38-39% are LGBTO?
It is tied to homeless and how Christian churces treat LGBTO kids.
